In a heartfelt clip that has gained traction on social media, Foxx recounted that on April 11, 2023, he began experiencing a ?bad headache.? He asked a friend for some Aspirin but lost consciousness before he could take it. His loved ones promptly rushed him to a local doctor in Georgia, where he received just a cortisone shot, which did not address the underlying issue.
After this initial visit, his sister, Deidra Dixon, took the initiative to seek further medical help at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Notably, Foxx was in the area for a movie shoot. At the hospital, the doctor informed Dixon that Foxx had suffered a ?brain bleed,? which led to a stroke.
?We didn?t find where it was coming from, but he is having a stroke. He may be able to make a full recovery, but it?s going to be the worst year of his life,? the doctor reportedly told Dixon.
