2025 North American Tour Announced by ZZ Top

Get Ready for the Exciting Launch of ZZ Top’s 51-Date North American Elevation Tour Kicking Off June 1 in Victoria, British Columbia

The legendary Texas trio, ZZ Top, has established itself as the most active classic rock band touring in 2024, outpacing renowned acts including Judas Priest, Styx, and Journey with an impressive total of 99 shows. This remarkable achievement showcases their enduring popularity and dedication to their craft, thrilling fans across North America.

Billy Gibbons, the iconic guitar virtuoso, is clearly focused on surpassing the century mark in performances this year. Starting 2025 with a robust 25-date tour featuring his side project, the BFGs, Gibbons will seamlessly transition into 23 North American dates with ZZ Top. Following this, the group is set to embark on a 12-date, three-week tour of Australia and New Zealand before returning to Canada to kick off their latest North American adventure, which includes newly added tour dates.

In mid-March, long-serving ZZ Top drummer Frank Beard announced his temporary withdrawal from the tour to address unspecified health concerns. Filling in for Beard is John Douglas, a cherished member of the band’s technical crew and a fellow Texan, who has stepped up during this time. He joins Gibbons and bassist Elwood Francis, who took over the role of bassist following the passing of Dusty Hill in 2021. As of now, there is no official timeline for Beard’s anticipated return to the band.

For those eager to catch ZZ Top live, their complete tour itinerary is available below. Details regarding ticket availability can be found on their official website.
