Commencing on August 13 in Tampa, Florida, the tour will span eight exciting shows, concluding on August 23 in Port Chester, New York. The band will also make stops in various cities, including Florida, Ontario, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut, providing fans with multiple opportunities to enjoy the live music experience.

Meet the Stellar Lineup Joining the Joe Perry Project on Tour

The Joe Perry Project will feature a star-studded lineup of musicians, many of whom are esteemed in their own right. Joining Perry are Brad Whitford, another guitarist from Aerosmith, and Buck Johnson, who plays keyboards and provides backing vocals. The powerhouse rhythm section includes Robert DeLeo, the bassist from Stone Temple Pilots, and drummer Eric Kretz, while the talented Chris Robinson from The Black Crowes will lend his iconic vocals to the mix.

Robinson shares a deep musical history with Perry, having collaborated on Perry’s 2023 album Sweetzerland Manifesto MKII and performing together at live events in recent years. Interestingly, The Black Crowes were also slated to support Aerosmith on their farewell tour, which was ultimately cut short after just three shows due to Steven Tyler‘s vocal injury and retirement from touring. Notably, DeLeo also contributed to Sweetzerland Manifesto MKII and has performed alongside Perry in the supergroup Hollywood Vampires, which includes icons like Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp.

“Well … it’s time to let the music do the talking again,” Perry expressed in an enthusiastic statement. “I’m incredibly excited about this year’s JPP lineup!!!! Most of these talented musicians joined me at the Roxy in Los Angeles for the launch of my latest solo album, Sweetzerland Manifesto, back in January 2018. They are all incredibly busy, but I’m grateful they could make time for this special tour.”

Perry went on to share, “Our set list will feature my favorite tracks from JPP, alongside hits from STP, The Black Crowes, and, with Brad’s help, we’ll dive into some classic Aerosmith hits as well as deeper cuts.
