As previously announced, MCR honored their groundbreaking 2006 album, The Black Parade, by performing it in its entirety to commence the show at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park. The band donned modernized versions of their signature marching band uniforms from that era, adding a fresh twist to their classic aesthetic, while also reimagining several tracks from The Black Parade with innovative arrangements.
This included the vaudevillian-inspired track “Mama,” which featured a new “dagger” outro that the band teased on their social media earlier that week, stirring excitement and, in true MCR fashion, sparking unfounded speculation about upcoming music releases.

Upon completing the performance of The Black Parade, My Chemical Romance transitioned to a smaller B-stage positioned within the audience, where they delivered an electrifying second set filled with popular hits and fan favorites. The crowd was ecstatic as they rocked out to tracks from Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, including “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” “The Ghost of You,” and “Helena,” which served as an emotional closer for the show.
In addition to these classics, they also included tracks from their Danger Days album such as “Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)” and “Planetary (GO!),” further showcasing their diverse musical range. Furthermore, they revisited their debut album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, performing gems like “Our Lady of Sorrows” and “Vampires Will Never Hurt You,” which delighted long-time fans.
The exhilarating My Chemical Romance tour will continue its momentum on July 19 in San Francisco and is set to culminate on September 13 in Tampa. Each concert will feature varying opening acts, including renowned artists such as Garbage, Alice Cooper, Pixies, and Evanescence, promising an eclectic mix of performances throughout.
