Christopher McQuarrie directed Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, with a script co-written with Erik Jendresen. McQuarrie has become one of Cruise’s most frequent collaborators over the years. Earlier in 2025, they reunited for the final Mission: Impossible film, The Final Reckoning, and they are also diligently working on the third Top Gun movie. They have previously collaborated on Edge of Tomorrow and <em>Valkyrie</em>.

Rebecca Ferguson has been cast in the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie, but details regarding her role remain undisclosed. Ferguson joins Cillian Murphy, Barry Keoghan, and several other stars in the film, but it is currently unclear when it will be released. Almost a year has passed since The Immortal Man completed filming, and fans are anticipating a significant announcement shortly. While promoting his recent Netflix series, House of Guinness, writer/director Steven Knight confirmed that an announcement about the film was forthcoming; however, there has been no news since.
