Arrow Video announced their April 2026 releases earlier today, and among the titles is Innerspace, the classic sci-fi comedy from director Joe Dante and producer Steven Spielberg, and Soldier, Paul W.S. Anderson’s sci-fi action flick starring Kurt Russell. Both Innerspace and Soldier will be released on 4K Ultra HD on April 28.
Innerspace 4K
Released in 1987, Innerspace stars Dennis Quaid as Tuck Pendleton, a maverick pilot who volunteers to be miniaturized and injected into the body of a rabbit as part of a scientific experiment. However, when rogue scientists steal the new technology, he finds himself injected into the body of hypochondriac grocery clerk Jack Putter (Martin Short) instead. Together with ace reporter Lydia Maxwell (Meg Ryan), Jack must find the stolen tech that will get Tuck back to regular size and out of his body – before the bad guys extract him by force!

Soldier 4K
After the release of Mortal Kombat and Event Horizon, Anderson teamed up with Kurt Russell for Soldier. The film follows Sergeant Todd 3465 (Russell), a veteran in a long line of soldiers raised from birth to become ruthless and remorseless killing machines. When the callous Colonel Mekum (Jason Isaacs) introduces a new line of stronger, genetically engineered fighters, Todd is deemed obsolete and confined to the waste-disposal planet Arcadia 234. Taken in by a group of humble colonists, Todd reconnects with his lost humanity, gaining their acceptance and their friendship. But when Mekum unleashes his new elite squad on the planet, led by the fearsome Caine 607 (Jason Scott Lee), Todd must reawaken the warrior within to protect his newfound community.
The film was a box-office failure upon its 1998 release but has since become a cult favourite. Here’s a list of the special features included in the Arrow release.
