$714 Million Action Movie Starring Dwayne Johnson & Jason Momoa Now Streaming on Peacock


One of Universal Pictures’ popular globe-trotting action movies starring DCEU alums Dwayne Johnson and Jason Momoa has finally found a new streaming home. As of today, 2023’s hit action sequel Fast X is now officially available to stream on Peacock.

What do we know about Dwayne Johnson and Jason Momoa’s Fast X movie?

Fast X served as the latest installment in the long-running Fast & Furious franchise. Besides Johnson and Momoa, the sequel also featured Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, John Cena, Jason Statham, Scott Eastwood, Daniela Melchior, Brie Larson, and Alan Ritchson. During its theatrical run, the film earned a gross of over $714 million at the worldwide box office. It currently holds a Popcornmeter score of 84% on Rotten Tomatoes.

“Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved, and outdriven every foe in their path,” reads the film’s synopsis. “Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they’ve ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who’s fueled by blood revenge and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything — and everyone — that Dom loves, forever.”

Fast X was directed by Transporter director Louis Leterrier, with Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau writing the screenplay. Executive producers were Mark Bomback, David Cain, Joe Caracciolo Jr., Amanda Lewis, Chris Morgan, and Peter Welter. It was produced by Diesel, Lin, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Neal H. Moritz, and Samantha Vincent. The creative team consisted of director of photography Stephen F. Windon and composer Brian Tyler, along with editors Dylan Highsmith, Kelly Matsumoto, Corbin Mehl, and Laura Yanovich.
