Are you in the mood for some cheer? Paramount Pictures has something special to lift your spirits! This July, the studio renowned for its work on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise is bringing back another beloved classic with the animated adventure Smurfs. This film is inspired by the iconic characters created by Belgian comic artist Peyo. While Paramount initially teased a snippet of the trailer, it’s time to dive into the full trailer for this animated/live-action hybrid adaptation of the beloved Smurfs.

Rihanna makes a charming introduction as the new voice of Smurfette and adds to the film?s allure with her cover of ?Heaven is a Place on Earth,? originally performed by Belinda Carlisle. Smurfs artfully blends the nostalgic charm of classic Saturday morning cartoons with cutting-edge 3D animation techniques. The plot unfolds in a devastated Smurf village where a mysterious force has kidnapped Papa Smurf. This sets the stage for an adventurous quest as a motley crew of Smurfs embarks on a mission to rescue him, incorporating elements of live-action into their whimsical journey.
