The upcoming special will feature Adam discussing his journey from stand-up comedy to Saturday Night Live and eventually to movie stardom.
“Combining humor, curiosity, and in-depth conversations with extraordinary people, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman has Letterman back in the host’s chair, following a 33-year reign in late night,” shares the Netflix description.
There have been five seasons (27 episodes) and three specials so far, with the former late-night host interviewing Barack Obama, Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, Robert Downey Jr., Tina Fey, and many more stars.
Michael Steed directed the Adam episode.
The standalone special will begin streaming on December 1, followed by season 6 sometime later in the month.
