Aerosmith has revisited its roots with the latest archival release that highlights the 1973 album Aerosmith.
This album introduced Aerosmith to the world, featuring future fan favorites like the timeless “Dream On,” making it a memorable listen even today. The cofounders of Aerosmith, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, mixed the original recordings and tapes for the new Legendary Edition, resulting in a new remaster and remix completed in 2024.
This 11-track concert recording from March 20, 1973, was captured just two months after the debut’s release at Paul’s Mall in Boston, the band’s hometown.
The set includes live versions of album songs “Make It” and “Mama Kin,” as well as covers of tracks that Aerosmith would incorporate into their concert repertoire, including “Mother Popcorn” and “Train Kept A Rollin’.”
