    Akon is taking a firm stance against his estranged wife in their divorce — the rapper does not intend to provide her with any spousal support!

    According to new court documents obtained by TMZ, Akon has indicated his desire to terminate spousal support for Tomeka — his wife of 29 years — after she requested it in her divorce petition filed in September.

    Interestingly, Tomeka requested the court not to award any spousal support to Akon, indicating that both parties aim to safeguard their finances.

    In Akon’s response, filed Friday in L.A. Superior Court, he also requested joint physical custody of their 17-year-old child.

    Tomeka, on her part, sought joint legal custody of their child along with full physical custody.

    The divorce is not the only challenge Akon has faced recently; as previously reported, the hip hop star was arrested last week in Georgia for failing to appear in court regarding driving with a suspended license.
