This awards show moment was anything but ordinary.

After the abrupt conclusion of the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Alex Warren expressed his feelings about winning the prestigious Song of the Year award.

The 25-year-old shared a mirror selfie with his wife Kouvr Annon on his Instagram Stories on March 27, proudly displaying the envelope that confirmed his victory for the night’s top honor, captioning it “SONG OF THE YEAR.”

During the ceremony on March 26, broadcasted on Fox, hosts Ludacris and Nikki Glaser announced Warren as the winner of Song of the Year just as the credits began to roll. He approached the stage to accept his award and deliver a speech, but before he could begin, Ludacris declared that the show had to conclude.

“We don’t have time for a speech!” Ludacris stated into the microphone, according to social media footage. “We gotta go. Thank you, everybody! Goodnight!”
