The actress wore a yellow gown that spread dramatically around her legs. She added black armor-style pieces on her shoulders that looked sharp and unapologetic. Her hair fell in loose, natural waves with lots of volume. She wore layered gold necklaces across her collarbone, and a bold ring shone as she rested her hand on her knee.
Seyfried leans into that idea in her accompanying interview. “We’re losing power all the time,” she says. “Like, all the time. We’re losing privacy, and we’re losing our autonomy.” She continues, noting that many sacrifices people make today happen unconsciously. Still, she insists that agency hasn’t vanished entirely. “I think we still have the power to make waves for ourselves and for each other. We still do.”
