Is LeBron James Really Retiring From Basketball? The Truth About His “Decision”

Angel Reese is living the dream.

One day after it was announced that she was being traded from the Chicago Sky to the Atlanta Dream, the WNBA player said she couldn’t be more thrilled about her next chapter.

“Atlanta Dream, what’s up! I really dreamed of this moment,” Angel told E! News in an exclusive interview at the unveiling of her new Victoria’s Secret campaign in New York City on April 7. “I’m just living in my Barbie Dream house. I’m just having so much fun.”

“Life is good, life is great,” the 23-year-old added. “I’m excited for this new journey in this new city and more to come.”

Angel—who goes by the nickname “Bayou Barbie”—also celebrated the trade on Instagram in two separate April 6 posts, which featured photos of her wearing Atlanta gear.

In the first post, the athlete shared a video where she expressed her gratitude for the Chicago Sky fans.

“To the city of Chicago, you showed me real love from day one,” she said in the clip. “Thank you Chicago, always Chi-Town Barbie.”
