The former NFL superstar claimed that he was ambushed by a group of individuals who attempted to steal his jewelry while also inflicting physical harm. Brown addressed the circulating video that depicted him in handcuffs, explaining that the police temporarily detained him until they could hear his side of the story before releasing him. He emphasized that he returned home that night without being formally arrested.

“Regarding the boxing event that happened last night. I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED,” AB wrote.

Furthermore, Brown informed his fans that he intends to pursue legal action against those who assaulted him.
