The trailer for Netflix’s next big action movie, Apex, has arrived.

The film stars Charlize Theron, Taron Egerton, and Eric Bana in the leading roles. The movie is directed by Baltasar Kormákur.

Here’s the logline for the film: A grieving woman testing her limits in the Australian wilderness is suddenly ensnared in a deadly game with a ruthless predator.

Taron portrays a psychopath named Ben, who ends up in crosshairs with Sasha, portrayed by Charlize.

“This is a psychological thriller,” Charlize told Netflix about the movie. “It’s really a story about survival, not just physically but emotionally. And it’s about finding out what you’re made of.”

“In my version of the story, Ben is the hero,” Taron told Netflix. “Everything has to make sense for him. So part of my job is to craft a spiritual code for him.”

It hits Netflix on April 24, 2026.
