Ares Popcorn Bucket Meets Fans’ High Expectations


A new Tron: Ares popcorn bucket allows moviegoers to take home their own light cycle.

Tron: Ares is the upcoming third installment in Disney’s Tron series. The franchise began in 1982’s Tron, directed by Steven Lisberger, while the first sequel, Tron: Legacy, was released in 2010. There was also a Disney Television Animation series, Tron: Uprising, that premiered in 2012 and ran for 19 episodes.

Tron: Ares comes from director Joachim Rønning, who previously made 2019’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and 2024’s Young Woman and the Sea. Releasing in United States theaters and IMAX next month, the movie stars Jared Leto (Morbius, Haunted Mansion), Greta Lee (Past Lives, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse), Evan Peters (WandaVision, American Horror Story), Jodie Turner-Smith (A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, Murder Mystery 2), and more.
