Arie and Lauren first met during season 22 of The Bachelor. Although Arie initially chose Becca Kufrin, he later ended their engagement due to his feelings for Lauren.

The couple married in 2019 and now have a 5-year-old daughter named Alessi, along with 3-year-old twins, Senna and Lux.

Regarding the vasectomy, he mentioned in March 2025, “I got the vasectomy after the twins were born, and ever since then, I don’t know, I think I rushed it. Honestly, it’s more on me. I think having the twins was hard at first.” Lauren noted that six months after welcoming the twins in 2021, Arie underwent the procedure “without consulting [her].”
