The collaboration of two musical legends is always a remarkable event in the industry.

After announcing their highly anticipated EP and releasing a captivating single last month, iconic artists Roc Marciano and DJ Premier have just unveiled the visually stunning video for their track “Armani Section.”

The music video, directed by the talented POE, showcases Roc and Preemo enjoying a day of luxury shopping in Los Angeles, accompanied by a couple of exquisite vehicles that add flair to their outing. DJ Premier shared insights into the video’s creation, stating, “My director POE and I flew to L.A. and literally shot the video from 10 am to 5 pm and flew right back to N.Y.” He expressed gratitude to The Alchemist for lending his Maybach Wagon and studio for the filming, noting that Roc Marci also featured his own Maybach in the video.

He added, simply, “Authentic fly sh—t.”

A couple of years back, Roc Marciano and DJ Premier serendipitously encountered each other in the luxurious Giorgio Armani section of Macy’s flagship store in Herald Square, NYC. During their brief meeting, they discussed the possibility of creating music together. This conversation eventually led to their collaboration last year, and they decided to title their inaugural track after the location of their fateful meeting. While the EP doesn’t yet have a title or release date, fans can anticipate its arrival later this year.

As DJ Premier continues to shape the rest of his collaborative project with Roc Marciano, he is also directing his efforts towards his label, TTT (To the Top). Alongside this, he is focusing on his talented artist Brady Watt, who has recently released an engaging single titled “Shake.” This multifaceted approach allows Premier to diversify his musical endeavors while nurturing new talent in the industry.

The legendary DJ and record producer launched his label a few years ago with the intention of producing music on his own terms and releasing it on his schedule. This independence has empowered him to explore new creative avenues and collaborate with a variety of artists, further enriching the hip-hop landscape.
