This month’s theme is all about transitions. As we approach the end of summer, we find ourselves preparing to settle back into our home just in time for the new school year. Our family dynamics are also changing; we are focusing on how to effectively delegate tasks, which involves moving responsibilities off both mine and Thomas’s plates. We are embracing larger projects and long-term goals, which requires us to expand both our team and household to facilitate this transformation and create room for new opportunities. By mid-August, I am truly looking forward to returning to the comforting rhythms of our “normal” routine. In the meantime, here’s an exciting glimpse into what’s currently happening in our lives:
Exciting Family Adventures This Month
- We are starting the month with a delightful visit to our family’s ranch in Idaho. This trip promises slower-paced days spent outdoors, cherished moments with cousins, and a much-needed break from our routine.
- Following our Idaho adventure, we’ll be journeying to California, with planned stops across the state. This includes the girls’ first visit to San Francisco, enjoying quality time in San Diego with friends, a thrilling stop at Legoland, and a heartwarming visit with my grandma.
- We will wrap up our travels in Hawaii for a family wedding. Clementine is over the moon about this trip—she is currently in her peak Stitch phase, and Hawaii holds a special place in her heart at this moment.
- This month, we will also be celebrating Clementine’s sixth birthday. I often feel emotional around her birthday—perhaps because she is our first child, or maybe it’s just one of those significant milestones that sneak up on you. I genuinely can’t believe my baby is turning six!
- At the end of the month, I’ll be hosting a major shoot at our house for an exciting collaboration set to launch in early fall. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our creativity and vision.
- We are also initiating marketing efforts and photoshoots for another collaboration scheduled to launch later this year. Behind the scenes, a tremendous amount of work is coming together, and I’m thrilled to see it all taking shape.
- Recently, we watched the new Apple TV show Stick, featuring Owen Wilson, and we absolutely loved it—it’s such a heartwarming series. The vibe reminded me a bit of Ted Lasso, in the best possible way.
