Matt and Angela Lanter are parents once again!
The 42-year-old actor, who recently recurred on Prime Video’s Motorheads, and the lifestyle blogger welcomed their second child together, a baby boy, into the world on Thursday, August 28, a rep confirmed to People.
Their new little one joins big sis MacKenlee Faire, 7.

“We really wanted a somewhat unique name. We liked the idea of a throwback, all-American feel…maybe even a vintage, western, rugged sort of name,” the couple shared with People about his name. “We definitely had a tough time narrowing down our list of potential names.”
Lanter baby No 2 is named Ford Hayes Lanter, and was born at 19 1/4 inches long, weighing 7lbs and 7oz.
“After looking deep through our family tree, it turns out Ford is actually a family name! His middle name, Hayes, is Matt‘s dad’s middle name,” they added.
“Ford came fast and furious into the world as a VBAC birth in Nashville, Tenn,” the couple said of the birth, referring to a vaginal birth after C-section.
How has it been for the past week after his birth?
“Slow mornings have been our favorite with our new baby boy,” Matt and Angela shared. “Just soaking up every single sweet moment with him. The hardest part is absolutely the middle-of-the-night feedings and trying to adjust to the lack of sleep. We’re hoping to find our groove soon!”
The couple first announced the pregnancy back in April.
