Chris Evans and Alba Baptista have chosen a beautiful name for their daughter.
The Captain America star and the Warrior Nun actress welcomed their baby girl—born on October 24 in Massachusetts—Alma Grace Baptista Evans, as reported by multiple outlets. The name honors both parents by incorporating their surnames.
While Chris was busy transitioning into parenthood, starring in two summer films Materialists with Dakota Fanning and Pedro Pascal , as well as Honey Don’t alongside Margaret Qualley, he hinted that he and Alba were quietly preparing for their daughter’s arrival.
“We’re laying low,” the 44-year-old shared with E! News in June. “We’re enjoying our time, just relaxing.”
Despite the impending parenthood, Chris assured that he and the 28-year-old—who married in 2023—were still enjoying their honeymoon phase.
“It’s incredible,” he expressed about his two-year marriage. “It’s wonderful.”
Becoming a dad had always been on Chris’s agenda, as he previously mentioned that adopting his dog Dodger in 2015 was a step towards preparing for fatherhood.
