Baby No. 2 Welcomed by Kate Upton and Justin Verlander

Kate Upton and her husband, Justin Verlander, have just made an exciting addition to their family.

The stunning Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and talented MLB pitcher joyfully welcomed their son, Bellamy Brooks Verlander, on June 19, as confirmed by a representative for Kate to People magazine.

Before embarking on this new parenting journey, the couple, who exchanged vows in 2017, were already proud parents to their delightful 6-year-old daughter, Genevieve. Their growing family continues to bring joy and excitement into their lives.

Although neither Kate nor Justin have publicly commented on their latest family member, the San Francisco Giants made an announcement on June 20 via a post on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that Justin had been taken off the roster and placed on the “Paternity List,” which signifies his new role as a father.

While the couple values their privacy and prefers to keep their family life away from public scrutiny, Kate has occasionally shared glimpses into her experiences as a mother, which include some charming and humorous interactions with her young daughter.

“Recently, she told me that she thought I was a tennis player,” the 33-year-old model shared with E! News in May 2024. “She believes I play tennis for fun. I guess because Justin is athletic and plays baseball, she thinks, ‘That’s a job!’” This anecdote not only highlights the innocence of childhood but also showcases the light-hearted moments in their parenting journey.

Beyond the laughter and joy, Kate ensures that her role as a mother positively influences her professional life, balancing her career with her family responsibilities and cherishing the moments spent with her children.
