Bachman-Turner Overdrive has announced an exciting lineup of new concert dates as they prepare to perform alongside legendary acts such as the Marshall Tucker Band, Starship featuring Mickey Thomas, and Blue Oyster Cult. This resurgence of live music will take them to several key locations, including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, and Washington D.C., with performances now scheduled to continue into November. The band was revitalized by co-founder Randy Bachman in 2023, and the original lineup featured Fred Turner along with Bachman’s late brothers, Robbie and Tim. Turner has begun to limit his involvement to select appearances since 2018, leading to a significant transformation in the group’s lineup. The current ensemble has been thoroughly reimagined to bring a fresh sound to their performances.

“BTO has truly become a family band once again,” Bachman expressed in an official statement. “My son Tal Bachman plays guitar, my daughter-in-law KoKo Bachman is on drums, and we’re joined by our friends Lance Lapointe on bass and Brent Knudsen on guitar. Our sound has never been better, and we are excited to share this experience with our fans.”

Bachman-Turner Overdrive recently completed a series of performances across Canada as part of their extensive Back in Overdrive Tour. “We’re featuring all the classic hits while also delving into some of our deeper album cuts,” Bachman noted, “and the reaction from our audiences has been overwhelmingly positive, making this tour truly special for us.”

The band is currently touring in support of their newly released single “60 Years Ago,” which marks their first new song in decades. Bachman has promised that their setlists will include beloved tracks from The Guess Who, the iconic band he co-founded with Burton Cummings before embarking on his journey with Bachman-Turner Overdrive.
