Reactions to Predator: Badlands are now available, revealing whether the film includes a post-credits scene and its connection to Predator: Killer of Killers.
What happens in the Predator: Badlands post-credits scene?

For those hoping for a connection between Killer of Killers and a potential future movie, there isn’t one this time. According to early viewers of Badlands, the film does not include any mid or post-credits scenes. This positions Badlands as a standalone story with no strong ties to previous films.
Fans anticipated a crossover following the conclusion of 2025’s Killer of Killers. The animated film featured a post-credits scene revealing that the Comanche warrior Naru (portrayed by Amber Midthunder in 2022’s Prey) and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Dutch have been frozen in cryogenic stasis pods by the Yaujta, commonly known as Predators.
While fans hoped for an appearance or reference to these characters in Badlands, it appears that will not occur in this installment.
Badlands stars Elle Fanning as Thia, a synthetic humanoid robot created by the Weyland-Yutani corporation. Joining her is Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi as Dek, inspired by stoic outcast heroes like Conan the Barbarian and Mad Max.
Directed and produced by Dan Trachtenberg, Predator: Badlands features a screenplay co-written with Patrick Aison, based on characters created by Jim Thomas and John Thomas. This marks Trachtenberg’s third project within the Predator franchise, following his direction of the 2022 prequel Prey and the adult animated Disney+ film Killers of Killers. The film is produced by John Davis, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt, and Brent O’Connor. Notably, it has received a PG-13 rating, making it the first film in the main Predator franchise not rated R.
“Set in the future on a deadly remote planet, Badlands follows a young Predator outcast (played by newcomer Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi) who finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Elle Fanning) as he embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary,” reads the official synopsis of the film.
Predator: Badlands is scheduled for release on November 7, 2025.
