Paul McCartney performed a concert in Santa Barbara, California on Friday night, just days ahead of his North American tour launch.
He included many of his classic songs but opened with a Beatles hit he hadn’t performed live since 1990: “Help!” Below is footage from before the concert where McCartney is soundchecking the song.
Also featured in the set list was “Now and Then,” the 2023 Beatles song created using archival recordings of John Lennon and George Harrison, along with several well-known tracks by Wings.
