Only four months after ENHYPEN made their Coachella debut, the U.S. leg of the group’s ‘WALK THE LINE’ World Tour hit American soil with a pair of sold-out nights at UBS Arena on Aug. 6-7. This two-show launch in New York set the tone for the rest of the stateside shows in the K-pop act’s most ambitious world tour yet, showcasing their rising popularity and strong fanbase.
Dressed in custom Prada outfits, the members delivered a satisfyingly theatrical show at the Belmont Park venue. Artful transitions and brilliant pyrotechnics brought to life material from their latest Billboard 200 Top 10 album DESIRE: UNLEASH, alongside refreshed mixes of past hits and fan-favorite tracks, ensuring that the audience was thoroughly entertained throughout the entire performance.
The septet tore through their Billboard Global 200 smashes like “Sweet Venom,” “XO (Only If You Say Yes),” and “Bad Desire (With or Without You),” the band’s latest single that marked their highest entry yet on the chart. The members even broke off into units where Jay, Jake, and Sunghoon delivered the emotionally charged “Lucifer,” playing into the song’s themes with sexy priest-inspired looks. Simultaneously, the quartet of Jungwon, Heeseung, Sunoo, and Ni-ki showcased their ferocity with the rollicking electro-rock cut “Teeth,” dancing while drenching the arena in a captivating green laser light show. The BELIFT LAB boy band even slightly altered their setlist for New York to include the original version of their pop single “Loose,” which was released in April.
Read on for the complete list of the best moments from UBS Arena that highlight why ENHYPEN’s New York kickoff for the ‘WALK THE LINE’ U.S. Tour marked another impressive milestone in the K-pop group’s ongoing evolution and success in the global music scene.

Discover Pre-Show Activities at UBS Arena
Even before the opening notes of ENHYPEN’s concert, memories were being made outside UBS Arena with a full agenda of activities catered to the group’s dedicated fanbase, affectionately known as ENGENE. While K-pop fans typically line up, camp out, and connect ahead of most shows, the Belmont Park venue transformed this tradition with engaging activities. Fans painted the surrounding pavement with chalk messages for the group, ranging from “ENHYPEN, YOUR LOVE IS HELIUM” to “LATINAS 4 SUNGHOON.” The group’s music played to inspire dance mobs, while friendship-bracelet stations, hair and nail art decorations, specially made food items and cocktails, and banner-making materials were also available.
The event team even utilized 360-degree cameras to shoot impressive videos of ENGENE and provided disposable cameras for fans to use and later see the developed results. This ensured that the memories created during the event would last long after the show ended, creating a truly immersive experience for the fans.

Experience the Fiery ‘ParadoXXX Invasion’ Performance
It wasn’t just the extravagant use of fire and pyrotechnics that opened and closed ENHYPEN’s performance of the 2022 track “ParadoXXX Invasion,” but the group’s electrifying attitude as well. Fans were treated to an exhilarating experience as the band freestyled their moves throughout the start of the track. Heeseung even passionately let an f-bomb drop in the middle of the performance when addressing the audience: “New York, make some f—ing noise!” This moment encapsulated the raw energy and connection the group shared with their fans.

Why Fans Scream for Sunoo
For both of ENHYPEN’s previous world tours, the group’s New York dates were at the end of the U.S. leg. Local fans at their first NYC show during the 2022 Manifesto World Tour likely remember Sunoo’s tearfully touching speech at Radio City Music Hall, which inspired a heartfelt group hug to comfort the then-19-year-old singer. Fast forward to 2025, and New Yorkers still have a soft spot for the superstar, as he consistently inspired some of the loudest and longest cheers of the night when the members addressed the crowd individually. At one point, he seemed taken aback and unable to suppress a smile at the ongoing cheers and screams resonating throughout the arena.
“Today’s our last night in New York and we’re really sad about it — should we do another one?” he laughed while asking the crowd, igniting another wave of exuberant cheers toward the show’s closing. “If it was up to me, I would love to do it again too. Tonight’s going to be really lasting in my memories. We’ll definitely be back next time, so please be patient for us. Thank you.” This moment clearly demonstrated Sunoo’s affection for New York as well.

Exploring the Dramatics of ‘Pass the MIC’ Performance
An ENHYPEN concert is never lacking in stage production. The performance setup for “Future Perfect (Pass the MIC)” took things to another level with a stage design reminiscent of a musical-theatre production. Jungwon took center stage at a podium surrounded by prop microphones and speakers while the song’s rebellious lyrics flashed across the LED screens, creating a powerful atmosphere as if the ENHYPEN leader was delivering a manifesto for the concert while his members stood beside him amidst a set of broken-down buildings.
Both a red and white flag adorned the stage, symbolizing defiance and surrender in battles, perfectly aligning with the group’s concept of contrasting sentiments in their music through songs like “Given-Taken,” “Blessed-Cursed,” “Sweet Venom,” and many more. ENHYPEN’s music has already inspired their Dark Moon webtoon series, leaving fans wondering if an ENHYPEN musical could be the next exciting project on their horizon.

Experience the Original “Loose” Live

ENHYPEN made a notable change to the setlist for the U.S. leg of the WALK THE LINE World Tour, incorporating the April pop single “Loose” into the mix for the first time at the UBS Arena show. While the group’s concert on Aug. 3 in Osaka, Japan, included the songs “Orange Flower (You Complete Me)” and “Shine on Me,” the Aug. 6 and 7 shows featured “Loose” instead, marking a refreshing addition to their performance.
Although live performances of the original English version of “Loose” had been limited to select television appearances and a VEVO Studios session, ENHYPEN confidently brought “Loose” back to the stage, with members Jungwon, Jay, Heeseung, and Sunoo flawlessly executing the fierce growls and licks throughout the chorus’ final belt, showcasing their vocal prowess.

Heeseung Captivates with “Loose” A Cappella
After the performance of “Loose,” the eldest member, Heeseung, wasn’t ready to move on just yet. The 23-year-old delighted the crowd by singing the track’s falsetto-heavy chorus entirely a cappella, inviting the entire arena to sing along with him. He ad-libbed, engaging the audience as thousands of ENGENEs did their best to meet the high expectations set by the super-vocalist, creating a magical moment.
On the Aug. 7 show, Heeseung sang through the chorus twice, providing the audience with a double dose of his smooth delivery. The audience’s participation, along with their enthusiastic singing, brought a huge smile to his face. (Kudos to the NYC ENGENEs for their stellar performance!)

Innovative Musical Intros & Outros Enhance the Experience
Compared to most K-pop shows, a remarkable difference in ENHYPEN’s concert was their frequent transitions into and out of songs, accompanied by distinct instrumentals and stunning visuals splashing across the screen. Unlike many K-pop concerts that simply jump from song to song, there were several stylish interludes between tracks, allowing the group time to reset or move to a new part of the stage while keeping the crowd engaged. One of the best moments occurred between “Teeth” and “Blessed-Cursed,” where a dazzling laser-light show captivated the arena while throbbing EDM electrified the atmosphere, as if the group had a world-class DJ on hand to assist with transitions.
While it may not make the “best moments” list for most fans, these production changes should be appreciated from a technical perspective, as they enhanced the concert experience, making it feel more like a continuous journey rather than a series of individual songs performed back-to-back.

Jay Rocks Out Before ‘Blessed-Cursed’
While Jay has showcased his guitar-playing skills on tour in the past, including his acoustic accompaniment to “TFW (The Feeling When)” during ENHYPEN’s FATE World Tour, the Seattleite truly rocked out on this tour. Before the full band broke into “Blessed-Cursed,” Jay delivered an electrifying introduction on the electric guitar that, at one point, seemed to blow out the speakers of the arena. This stunning start to one of the group’s most thrilling singles allowed Jay to spotlight another side of his multifaceted musicality.

Refreshing Live Mixes of Classic Hits

While ENHYPEN hasn’t included their debut single “Given-Taken” in their tour setlist since their first world tour, the boys added their beloved first track back into this setlist with a noticeably fresh mix. This feature was evident throughout several songs during the night, such as a dance break in “Sweet Venom” or Heeseung opening “XO (Only If You Say Yes)” with a captivating piano introduction. As ENHYPEN approaches five years together in November, they undoubtedly appreciate this refreshing switch for their first-ever track, making for an even more exhilarating listening experience for fans who likely have fond memories of the song now reimagined with the remixes.

Sunghoon’s Sweet Mastery of the Camera
Whether it was positioning his jawline at the perfect angle or ensuring his hair was styled just right, Sunghoon knew exactly how to engage the camera every time it came his way. This was most evident during “Sweet Venom,” when he winked right on beat as the camera panned to him for the first hook, then smized with one raised eyebrow as the camera swooped back for the second hook. That’s what we call a professional pop star, capturing the audience’s attention effortlessly.

Ni-ki’s Heartfelt Final Words to Fans
While the youngest member Ni-ki tends to be one of the quieter members of the group, the 19-year-old offered some heartfelt words as he said goodbye to the crowd. His sincerity and emotion resonated with the fans as he expressed his gratitude and encouragement.
“The energy that you’re sending me gets rid of all the sad thoughts,” he shared while adding in gratitude for his fans. “For all of you who came today and yesterday, thank you so much. Remember: The main character of ‘WALK THE LINE’ is you, not us. I’ve been so happy these last two days, thank you, New York.” His genuine words undoubtedly left a lasting impact on the audience.

Reflecting on the Playful Farewell
Although the ENHYPEN guys had a long journey flying in from two stadium shows in Osaka on Aug. 2-3 before performing in New York on Aug. 6-7, their playful energy truly shone through by the closing of the show. The guys performed some of their favorite tracks like “Helium” and “Paranormal” for the encore, even playing an extra song on Night 2 in New York with “Go Big or Go Home.” Their giggly goodbyes on Aug. 7 were a highlight, with Jake sporting a big smile and cracking up as his bandmates encouraged the crowd to “Make some noise!” while he persuaded Sunghoon to shout it several times.
The buoyant mood was the perfect note to end on, leaving a lasting reminder of how much the guys enjoy performing together on stage and the deep connection they share with their fans.
