When it comes to sci-fi horror shows worth watching, MGM+’s From ticks all the right boxes; it’s one of those underrated gems that has never lost its shine since its first season’s premiere on February 20, 2022. Created by John Griffin, the 96% RT show comprises three seasons for now, with the third concluding on November 24, 2024. Not long before the Season 3 finale, a fourth season was announced, which has been in production for the past few months.
Season 4 began filming in June 2025 in Nova Scotia, and fans will be thrilled to know that filming has officially wrapped, as revealed by the show’s X (formerly Twitter) account. “BRB decoding every frame of this video for clues on Season 4. #FROM has officially wrapped and is coming soon to @mgmplus!” the tweet reads. Attached is a clip of the cast ensemble, including Harold Perrineau, Scott McCord, Avery Konrad, Ricky He, David Alpay, A.J. Simmons, Kaelen Ohm, Chloe Van Landschoot, and Catalina Sandino Moreno, among others. An exact release date for the exciting new season has yet to be announced, but it has since been reported that new episodes will land in 2026.
What to Expect in ‘From’ Season 4?
Similar to From’s first three seasons, Season 4 will have 10 episodes and will feature the return of the stars mentioned above, as seen in the filming wrap video. When the show was renewed, series creator Griffin shared some hints about upcoming storylines, including the start of a “new journey,” adding, “The question is whether it will lead our characters home or deeper into this unrelenting nightmare.” Looking at the previous seasons, viewers should expect a deeper exploration of the nightmare at hand as the sci-fi mystery never fails to come up with the most unusual ways to torment its main characters. Perrineau also once mentioned in an interview that Season 4 might include a “rift” and “division” among the residents of the show’s nightmarish town.
From is executive-produced by Griffin, showrunner Jeff Pinkner, director Jack Bender, Perrineau, Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, and Scott Rosenberg from Midnight Radio; Anthony and Joe Russo and Mike Larocca from AGBO; and Lindsay Dunn. Midnight Radio’s Adrienne Erickson serves as co-executive producer. Stay tuned to Collider for a premiere date for Season 4.
