Daisy Jones & The Six, developed for television by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber—known for their work on 500 Days of Summer, The Disaster Artist, and The Spectacular Now, is based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s New York Times best-selling book.

The series follows the fictional band Daisy Jones & The Six at their peak in 1977. While loosely inspired by Fleetwood Mac, it does not depict true events. Riley Keough (The Terminal List, Mad Max: Fury Road) stars as Daisy Jones, the singer-songwriter and band leader.

Billy Dunne, played by Sam Claflin, is another key member whose differing views create tension within the band as they tour before abruptly ending their sold-out arena tour. The soundtrack features original songs akin to those found in music films like Inside Llewyn Davis.
