Reunion tours of rock bands are generating significant headlines for 2026.
None, however, is more notable than Rush, who has announced a surprise tour, their first since the R40 tour in 2015 and the first since the passing of drummer and lyricist Neil Peart in 2020. The Fifty Something tour features Rush co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, along with new drummer Anika Nilles. Lee has confirmed that they plan to “add another musician or two to expand our sound a wee bit.”
Twisted Sister is also reuniting, as are the (real) Guess Who and Poison. Bon Jovi is finally hitting the road again after a four-year hiatus, as frontman Jon Bon Jovi continues his recovery from vocal cord issues.

On another note, Jonathan Cain is set to embark on one final tour with Journey starting in 2026. His involvement dates back to the diamond-selling U.S. chart-topping album Escape from 1981, and Cain has written or co-written many of their most famous songs. However, recent years have been troubled by lawsuits and public disputes with Neal Schon, the group’s only remaining co-founding member.
Who’s Playing Las Vegas in 2026?
Additionally, there are the Las Vegas residencies to consider. The Sphere continues to host Eagles shows. Styx is performing at the Venetian Theatre inside the Venetian Resort – as is Chicago. Tesla had their own run this month at the House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Def Leppard will return to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The newly un-retired Cyndi Lauper will also be performing there.
Iron Maiden will focus on their first nine albums during the Run for Your Lives Tour as it reaches North American stadiums. This 12-date tour also features Megadeth and Anthrax. Heart has extended their ongoing Royal Flush tour after postponing several shows while Ann Wilson received treatment for cancer.
