“Honestly, they tease me about my passion for reality TV, particularly the Real Housewives. I consume it all — every single show,” Michelle revealed on the podcast, humorously mentioning that her husband, Barack Obama, often pokes fun at her reality TV fascination.
Michelle further elaborated by drawing an intriguing parallel between enjoying series like The Real Housewives of Atlanta and tuning into ESPN.
“There’s a lot of drama in sports. Listening to ESPN for an hour is akin to watching The Real Housewives of Atlanta. You know? It’s filled with the same kind of drama, and there’s yelling and conflict,” she explained during the podcast episode.
“It’s essentially sociological drama. The fact that individuals over multiple seasons still can’t seem to get along, still engage in the same arguments, is fascinating. And this isn’t solely a female phenomenon; it happens in sports as well. I find it utterly captivating,” Michelle expressed, specifically naming commentator Stephen A. Smith as ESPN’s equivalent to an episode of Real Housewives.
If you haven’t heard, a Real Housewives star recently hinted at some significant drama unfolding on her show.
