In a heartfelt Instagram update shared with his devoted followers, Michaels expressed his gratitude to fans in the Pittsburgh and Washington, Pennsylvania area, stating, “Thank you… you rule.” He recalled the excitement of a packed pre-show Meet & Greet, where despite knowing his blood sugar was low, he was eager to meet everyone and uphold his commitment to his fans.

He candidly shared, “Unfortunately, the ups and downs of living with diabetes since I was six years old sometimes just kick my butt.” During the performance, he even added a song or two to the setlist, driven by the desire to prove to himself and the audience that he could push through. However, he revealed that his blood sugar dropped to a concerning level of 39 after stepping off stage.

He stated, “I vow in the near future to take the necessary time, and I ask for your understanding if I need to move some of the shows around until I get my health under control.” The current summer schedule is quite hectic, taking him from Pennsylvania to Montana, then to Pittsburgh, and then to Oklahoma in just a few days, making it clear that adjustments will be essential.
He concluded with a message of appreciation: “I am forever grateful, but I simply have to rearrange some of this schedule as everyone understands. My apologies once again. I love the shows, the fans, and the music!”
