My journey as a content creator blossomed through Faith in Fashion 360, a platform that initially started as a blog but quickly evolved into a podcast and radio show. What began as a passion project swiftly transformed into a vibrant space where I could intertwine faith, fashion, and storytelling. From strutting down the runway to orchestrating behind-the-scenes experiences, I have dedicated years to building a presence that encapsulates both the glamour and the challenges of being a plus size Black woman in the fashion industry.
Approximately seven years ago, I launched my distinctive jewelry and beauty brand—springing from the disparities I faced as a model who often felt invisible in conventional spaces. For me, content creation became an avenue for personal expression as a self-declared introvert, but it also served as a powerful tool to empower other women in discovering their voice and confidence.
Today, I persist in that mission through deliberate content creation, organizing empowering women’s meetups, and hosting annual networking events that bring together style, substance, and sisterhood.
Was there a specific moment when you realized your content was truly making a difference? Can you share that experience?
One particular moment during one of my early networking events remains etched in my memory. A young woman approached me and said, “I didn’t even plan to come, but I saw your post and felt like maybe someone like me belonged in a room like this.” She conveyed how witnessing my content—my body, my voice, and my honesty—made her feel recognized in a way she hadn’t before.
This encounter reminded me that impact doesn’t always manifest in metrics like numbers or likes; sometimes, it resides in the quiet DMs, the heartfelt discussions after an event, or the way someone stands a bit taller after seeing themselves reflected in your narrative. That was the moment I understood that my content transcended mere beauty or branding—it was about fostering a sense of belonging.
Since that pivotal moment, I’ve had the privilege of aiding other plus size women—be it mothers, 9-to-5 professionals, or women who have lost their spark from giving so much to others. My annual Galentine’s Day event has transformed into a cherished space where women come together, powerful leaders connect, and yes—there are always moments of heartfelt tears. It’s a beautiful experience to witness these women rediscover their confidence.

What continues to inspire and motivate you to create and engage online?
My motivation to consistently create content and engage online is profoundly personal—it stems from my 5-year-old daughter and the cherished memory of my late mother, who bravely battled lupus until her passing in 2021. My mother was my unwavering supporter, attending every event, symposium, and conference, silently cheering me on and reminding me that my voice held value.
Now, I see that same spark in my daughter. She is discovering her own creative passions, beautifully mimicking my work, which fills me with pride. I show up for both of them: for the woman who believed in me long before anyone else did, and for the little girl who observes my journey today. They are the wind beneath my wings, my purpose, and my driving force.
How would you encapsulate your personal style in just three to five words?
Polished, sexy, and fashion-forward.
Who or what has had the most significant impact on your personal style?
I draw my greatest inspiration from women—particularly plus size women—who refuse to conform to societal expectations. They style trends with their unique twist, present themselves unapologetically, and remind the world that fashion knows no size limitations. These women leave a little to the imagination while generously sharing the insights that empower the next woman to feel confident.
One of my foremost inspirations is Sarah Jakes Roberts. While she may not be plus size herself, the elegance, edge, and divine confidence she embodies resonate with women of all shapes. She fully embraces her identity, and that kind of power is undeniably contagious.
Moreover, I am profoundly inspired by plus size fashion pioneers like Gabi Gregg, who carved out space for bodies like mine in the mainstream fashion arena. Her audacious and fearless approach to style has helped reshape the narrative, illustrating that plus size fashion can be sexy, elevated, and innovative. Women like her have paved the way for creators like myself to claim our space—both stylishly and unapologetically.
For me, true style transcends size; it’s about presence. It’s about walking into any room and owning every aspect of your story and your silhouette.
How do you leverage your platform to challenge beauty standards and advance the conversation in plus size fashion?
I leverage my platform to challenge prevailing beauty standards by simply showing up—boldly, consistently, and fully embracing my body. As a plus-size Black woman, my visibility in fashion and media serves as a statement in itself, but I go further by creating content that emphasizes luxury, softness, and confidence in larger bodies. Through curated outfit breakdowns and hosting red carpet events, I demonstrate that plus-size women don’t need to shrink to be acknowledged—we deserve the front row, the spotlight, and signature looks as well.
Through Bella & Co Beauty and events like my annual Galentine’s Day experience, I’ve established spaces where women can feel beautiful, powerful, and worthy, irrespective of their size or life stage. I uplift mothers, 9-to-5 workers, and women who have forgotten the joy of prioritizing themselves. My content is not about “fixing” your body—it’s about celebrating it as it stands while also redefining what beauty can encompass in fashion, media, and real life.
Advancing the conversation involves being a role model, sharing behind-the-scenes insights, and mentoring other plus size women who aspire to take up space with style and substance.
What do you wish more brands or individuals understood about plus size fashion and plus size consumers?
We are willing to spend money! The ongoing debate about the higher costs associated with plus size clothing? Just create it! I’ve never hesitated to invest in quality pieces. The importance of quality should never be underestimated.
What’s a vital style hack that every plus size person should know?
Shapewear is not your adversary.
It’s not about concealing your body; it’s about honoring your silhouette and feeling supported in the garments you love. The right shapewear can enhance your fit, elevate your confidence, and empower you to walk into any room as if it was designed for you. It’s not a necessity, but it is a useful tool—and when utilized on your terms, it becomes powerful.

A bold accessory paired with good posture can transform everything.
Be it a statement earring, a luxury handbag, or a vibrant lip color—something intentional always elevates your look. But remember, confidence resides in your posture. Shoulders back, chin up, and strut into the room as if you own it, even if you had to give yourself a pep talk in the mirror just moments prior. Style encompasses what you wear, while confidence embodies how you wear it.

Crocs aren’t shoes. But I love you nonetheless.

Listen—I aspire to be your luxe plus bestie in your head! Brace yourself; I’m about to be everywhere (in the best way possible). I’m envisioning dream collaborations with brands like Eloquii and Shea Moisture—someone better send them my press kit because I’m ready to shine.
This summer, I’m organizing a series of women’s networking events designed to foster connection, confidence, and community. Additionally, I’m already planning for my signature Galentine’s Day 2026 experience—where the vibes, powerhouse women, and healing moments always arrive right on cue.
Regarding Bella & Co Beauty, we’re strategically scaling up. I’m preparing for a bold new campaign focused on everyday luxury—showcasing statement pieces that enhance the confidence of women on the move. Think soft glam, signature earrings, and elevated beauty moments that remind you that luxury isn’t merely a look; it’s a lifestyle. Our aim is to secure more retail partnerships, create a consistent content strategy, and position the brand for national press and boutique pop-ups in 2025 and 2026.
