Ting ting ting—Britani Bateman has an announcement.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star made a cameo on the Feb. 2 episode of American Idol alongside her niece Carmen Lorell Martin, who auditioned for judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Carrie Underwood in hopes of scoring a golden ticket.

But before the 20-year-old put her musical chops to the test, Britani, 54, grabbed the panel’s attention by clinking a wine glass with a butter knife—a callback to a move she’s done on the show—and introducing herself.

“Do you know me?” she asked during the segment. “I’m Britani. Britani Bateman.”

When the panel did not appear to be familiar with her, the reality star conceded that the moment was “not about me,” shifting the attention back to Carmen.

“This is about my amazing, gorgeous, perfect niece who you’re about to hear, and it’s insane,” Britani continued, to which Carrie quipped, “If we don’t have good things today, she has a knife—she has a weapon.”
