While one side features a delicate spaghetti strap, the other transitions into a sleeveless look that emphasizes the bodice’s structured, scalloped edge. The skirt contrasted beautifully with the bodice, falling into soft, uneven layers that moved fluidly. Further, its asymmetrical, handkerchief-style hemline lent the micro mini a sense of lightness and motion.

Devon Aoki looked every bit the Y2K It girl, wearing this dress in 2003 to the Lancôme Resolution skin-care launch party in Paris. She paired the dress with golden accessories, including a clutch and open-toe strappy heels. On her neck sat a diamond tennis necklace. She wore her hair in long, tousled curls and kept her makeup minimal, with a plum lip and light blush.
