Filming for this highly anticipated biopic commenced last October, and during this time, director Scott Cooper expressed his enthusiasm and passion for the project. He stated, “Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska has profoundly shaped my artistic vision,” emphasizing the album’s raw and unpolished depiction of life’s challenges and resilience, which resonates deeply with him as a creator.
In an interview with Variety, actor Jeremy Strong, who portrays Springsteen’s manager Jon Landeau, conveyed a similar admiration for the legendary singer-songwriter. He remarked, “I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a person’s body of work or their legacy in a way that uplifted me more or filled me with a sense of life and hope and love more than Bruce Springsteen.” Strong praised both Springsteen and his co-star Jeremy Allen White, stating, “Bruce is on set a lot.
