Caleb McLaughlin‘s conclusion for Lucas Sinclair is rated 11/10.
One month after Stranger Things wrapped up its fifth and final season, the actor shared his thoughts on where he envisions his character and Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) would be following the controversial finale.
“I truly hope that Lucas and Max remain together forever,” Caleb exclusively told E! News’ Will Marfuggi at the Los Angeles premiere of GOAT on Feb. 6. “That’s an iconic love story, so I wish them the best.”
While Max thinks there’s more to life than foolish boys, Caleb understands that Lucas appreciates being part of her life. And the 24-year-old feels similarly about the Netflix series.
“It’s been a long time coming,” Caleb acknowledged regarding the finale, “10 years on the show. I love everyone.”
And he’s not alone in believing Max and Lucas had a fulfilling ending.
In fact, co-creator Matt Duffer is confident that the couple can overcome any obstacle after Lucas waited nearly two years for his girlfriend to emerge from the trance Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) had placed her under during the season four finale.
