Cardi B Criticizes “Disrespectful” Pregnancy Speculation Regarding Offset and Stefon Diggs
Cardi B is concluding her recent legal battle.
A jury found the “WAP” rapper not legally responsible in a lawsuit claiming she assaulted a former security guard outside a Beverly Hills office building in 2018, as reported by NBC News.
Shortly after the verdict was delivered in Los Angeles on September 2, the 32-year-old—who has denied the accusations—reaffirmed her innocence while speaking to reporters outside the courthouse.
“I’m not even playing around,” she stated, according to NBC News. “Even if I’m at my death bed, I swear to God, I will say it at my death bed—I did not touch that woman.”
Following her legal success, Cardi also urged her fans not to harass the plaintiff, Emani Ellis, online.
“I hope that this is something that I leave behind [and] that she leaves behind,” Cardi added. “Don’t go bother her. Don’t be talking about her. Don’t talk about how she looks. Don’t call her no nasty names.”
