Cardi B is accused by a security guard named Emani Ellis that the rapper once cut her face with her nail.
The “WAP” rapper is currently in court accused of assault by Ellis who claims the incident took place at a gynaecology facility in Beverly Hills back in 2018.
While on the stand, Ellis gave her version of events, saying: “I said something along the lines of ‘That looks like Cardi B’ or ‘Wow, that’s Cardi B.’”
She then alleges that the rapper “turned around” and said: “Why the fuck are you telling people that you see me?”
Ellis claims that she then attempted to defuse the situation and said she “tried to calm her down and assure her that I didn’t tell anyone that I’d seen her.”
The security guard alleged that Cardi then cut her face with her fingernail, leaving a gash that was “two to three inches long.” She also claims that the female MC attempted to punch her but failed to connect.
Cardi is also accused of making a number of “body shaming” and “racial slurs” towards Ellis.
Cardi has denied the claims against her.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper recently claimed that some of her female contemporaries act jealous of her.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Cardi addressed her standing in the rap game and the reactions she receives from some of her contemporaries.
He said: “For some reason, it’s something about me that these bitches can’t stand.”
“They can’t fuck with me. Some bitches, I feel like they’re on this class right now, they’re sophomores, and I’m a senior. And it’s like you want to fuck with the senior so bad. You think you’re here with the senior. You’re not even a junior.”
She added: “And it’s like you need to worry about them other sophomores before you start worrying about here, the fucking senior. But it’s something about it that it’s like they can’t even focus on them. They got to focus on me. And they always got to focus on throwing me shots and throwing me slings. No matter if you’re a fucking sophomore or in motherfucking college, it’s me.”
