“Given its status as a cult classic and the fact that they were filming in L.A., the details were tightly controlled. I received a few storyboards and had to [learn to] master the game quickly. Extensive practice was essential, as I was aware of four or five setups they planned to shoot. I knew exactly what they required from each shot, and then I was handed the sides. It turned out to be one of the more enigmatic roles I’ve tackled,” Cate disclosed in an interview with Variety.
