ビルボードジャパンの「Women in Music」インタビューシリーズがATARASHII GAKKO!と共に戻ってきました。このイニシアチブは、2022年に音楽とエンターテインメントに重要な貢献をしたアーティスト、プロデューサー、エグゼクティブを称え、彼女たちの仕事を通じて他の女性たちにインスピレーションを与えることを目的として立ち上げられました。日本のWIMプロジェクトのハイライトの一つであるこのシリーズは、日本のエンターテインメント業界における女性たちを特集しています。 探る 最新のビデオ、チャート、ニュースを見る この新しいインタビューは、6月9日に行われる特別ライブイベント「Women in Music – EQUAL STAGE」に先立って公開されます。このインタビューシリーズには、ATARASHII GAKKO!のSUZUKA、MIZYU、RIN、KANONが再登場し、「個性と自由を超えて（hamidashi）」というコンセプトのもと、彼女たちの哲学や絆、6月9日のショーに向けて何を持っていくかについて作家の平井理央と再び語り合いました。 このグループがこのシリーズに登場するのは二度目ですね。SUZUKAさん、前回のWIMインタビューで「一生懸命生きたい」とおっしゃっていたことが印象に残っています。2026年も半ばに差し掛かっていますが、これまでのところどうでしたか？ SUZUKA: 私たちの10周年を迎え、11年目に入るタイミングでダブルディジットを迎えることが新たなスタートを切る良い瞬間だと感じています。私たちは基本に立ち返るアイデアで様々なショーを行いながら、自分たちの未来を見据えたより前向きなバージョンを表現しています。7月にはベルリンでロラパルーザに出演し、その後チェコ共和国とロンドンで11周年を祝います。9月にはシアトルへ行き、12月にはラテンアメリカツアーでチリ、ブラジル、メキシコに立ち寄ります。 KANONさん、前回は現在を生きることの重要性についてお話しされていました。 KANON: それは全く変わっていません。私たちは常に「4人が一緒に現在を全うしている限り、それが私たちの青春（seishun）だ」と言っています。毎日、私はここで今あるすべてを捧げています。 2026年上半期で最も印象的な瞬間は何ですか？ RIN: ホールツアーを終えた後、4月に入学式をテーマにしたソロショーを行いました。それは非常にコンセプチュアルなショーであり、赤と白のカーテンを使用し、大きな演壇を設置し、観客を拍手で迎え入れました。このステージングとセットリストは、日本の学校の入学式に深い結びつきを持つ感情を呼び起こすように設計されており、本当に意味深いショーになりました。 MIZYU: 毎日が記憶に残る瞬間です。もちろんショーもそうですが、それらに向けての創作の日々や、その後観客の反応を受け止める日々も大切です。今年上半期は新しい音楽制作にも力を入れたので、それぞれの日が本当に貴重でした。 SUZUKA: 本当にその通りです！ 日本語が通じない観客の前でもパフォーマンスすることが多いですが、そのステージでは何を心掛けていますか？ RIN: 言語の壁があっても、パフォーマンスが私たちの武器です。だからこそ、「今私たちが言っていること」や「これが喜びだ」ということを伝えるために表情や大きな動きを使い、日本でも同じエネルギーを届けています。ただし、そのエネルギーはすべてダイヤルアップされています。セーラータイプの制服は私たちには自然なものですが、海外ではアイコニックなものとして見られるので、その後は全力投球するだけです。私はいつもステージに立つ時、「全力でやれば必ず伝わる」と信じています。 SUZUKA: 私たちの「注意して、お辞儀！」というルーチンは、日本では完全に馴染み深いものです。他国でそれを行うと、その一つの動作だけで大きな拍手が起こります。日本の観客は何もないかのように一緒にやりますが、その文化的違いが海外では驚きと喜びにつながります。 ATARASHII GAKKO!が象徴するものが、日本国内外で本当に伝わっているようですね。それについてどう感じていますか？ SUZUKA: 私たちはまだまだ道半ばだと思います。世界中には私たちを愛してくれる人々がいて、その理由は想像以上です。そして10年前の自分たちを振り返ると、今こんなにも多くのファンがいることに驚いています。しかし、それだけで満足するわけにはいきません。それは成長するための燃料として使うべきです。私たちは常に冒険したいと思っており、自分自身でも見たことのない側面を発見したいと思っています。それを人々に示し、より多くの人々へエネルギーを届けたいと思っています。だからこそ、「まだそこには行っていない」と言えます。 11年経った今でも、お互いについて新しい発見がありますか？ SUZUKA: 私たちは中学校2年生から知り合っているので、一緒に思春期という成長過程を経てきました。今では骨も大きくなりました。[笑う] 曲や振り付けを作る時、それぞれの日常生活からインスピレーションを得てグループにも持ち寄ります。常に何らかの変化がありますが、一方で安心感や安定感もあります。それは興味深いバランスです。 MIZYU:…
