Catfish Host Nev Schulman Discusses Brittany Furlan and Ronnie Radke

Catfish host and producer Nev Schulman has shared his thoughts on the ongoing scandal involving Brittany Furlan and Ronnie Radke.

Schulman, who is well-versed in catfishing, was interviewed by TMZ to discuss the situation between Furlan and Radke.

The controversy began in May 2025 when Furlan started communicating with someone impersonating Radke on Snapchat. The Falling in Reverse singer denied ownership of the account, and the issue seemed to fade until Furlan recently accused him of creating additional fake accounts to harass her.

What Does Nev Schulman Think of the Scandal Between Brittany Furlan and Ronnie Radke?

Schulman informed TMZ that he has been tagged in social media posts regarding the scandal since it became public last year. With the topic resurfacing, he decided to investigate further.

The host mentioned that he has known both Furlan and Radke’s ex-girlfriend Saraya for several years and spoke with both women recently about the situation.

“Most of the information obviously came from Brittany, and I have to say… It seems to me that she would have preferred to keep this whole thing private. The relationship she had with Ronnie, whether you believe it was really him or not, wasn’t something she wanted to make public or discuss,” Schulman elaborated.

Who Does Schulman Think Is Telling the Truth?

He prefaced his next remarks by stating he hasn’t conducted a formal investigation into the matter, especially since it would be difficult to obtain proof from Snapchat due to disappearing messages.

His opinion is largely shaped by his interactions with those involved; he believes both Furlan and Saraya are kind, genuine individuals.

“I don’t know Ronnie personally, but from what I’ve heard from both of these women — and I’m inclined to believe them — he may not be the most trustworthy or honest person,” Schulman admitted.

“If I had to choose who is telling the truth here and who might be using this situation for personal gain, even at others’ expense, I would side with Brittany.”

Schulman further suggested that if Radke were entirely innocent, he could have addressed the matter privately with Brittany and Tommy Lee instead of airing it on social media. He also offered to assist in identifying who has been creating fake social media accounts.

Toward the end of their conversation, Schulman speculated that someone might have witnessed an interaction between Furlan and Radke online and subsequently created an account pretending to be the Falling in Reverse singer to initiate contact with Furlan.

How Did Schulman Get Involved in the Scandal Between Radke and Furlan?

TMZ spoke with Radke earlier this week about his situation with Furlan. He revealed he was in the process of subpoenaing Snapchat to uncover the IP address of whoever has been impersonating him on the app.

The interviewer asked if Radke wanted Schulman involved.

“I would welcome anyone who can access this account, retrieve the IP address, and prove who this is,” the rocker replied.

How Did the Scandal Between Furlan and Radke Get Rehashed Again?

Furlan posted a series of allegations on her Instagram story on January 3 and 4, claiming that Radke created a fake Instagram account to troll her, Lee, and Saraya. She stated that this account, which has since been removed, was following all three of them while sending messages and commenting on their posts.

“… Every time someone posts a video about me being ‘catfished,’ I defend myself because I know the truth. He doesn’t like that I do this, so he’s trying to silence me further. He knows the truth too. I’d like to move on with my life. I’d like to be left alone. Not hunted from burner accounts,” she wrote in one of her posts.

Radke responded on his social media accounts, denying that the original Snapchat account Furlan messaged belonged to him or that he was behind the troll account. He reportedly filed a restraining order against her in Los Angeles, but it was denied [via People].
