During her conversation with i-D for their digital cover feature, Sarah playfully reminded Chase of the funny moment, saying, “You called Freddie Prinze Jr daddy.” To which Chase clarified with a chuckle, “I accidentally called him daddy.”
Sarah elaborated on the context, recalling, “We were shooting some pickup scenes in sunny LA, specifically outdoors in Long Beach, where Freddie was present. We had been reminiscing about all the iconic movie roles he’s portrayed throughout his career. Chase chimed in, saying that her favorite moment was from Scooby Doo when he portrayed Daphne…”
“I can look at myself naked.” In a playful tone, Chase even did an impression of Freddie Prinze Jr, eliciting a positive response from him: “That was pretty good!” she shared. “Then, I began discussing how my dad is a massive fan of Summer Catch, which is a classic baseball movie featuring Freddie Prinze Jr—and someone on set asked what the film was about.”
