In the aftermath of Zak Srakaew’s departure from Love Island USA season seven, the former contestant has taken to social media to clarify the circumstances surrounding Cierra Ortega’s controversial removal due to her problematic social media activity.
“When Cierra left, they gathered us all together—the producers,” Zak disclosed during a live session on TikTok. “They informed us, ‘Unfortunately, Cierra has violated some of the policies outlined in our guidelines. As a result, she will no longer be residing in the villa. That’s all the information we can provide you with.’”
He went on to explain that he and the other Islanders were left in the dark about the specifics of the situation, adding that they were advised to reach out to the producers only if they required someone to talk to about it.
Regarding the emotional impact of Cierra’s abrupt exit on her partner Nic Vansteenberghe, Zak shared, “Nic was genuinely heartbroken over her departure.” Zak, who had previously been in a couple with Amaya Espinal before she transitioned to a relationship with Bryan Arenales, explained, “However, it was difficult for him to fully express his feelings about the situation until he learned more about what Cierra had done or said that led to her exit.”
