The former trainer from Indiana, Brittany Fortinberry, is currently facing an alarming array of charges after allegedly engaging in a disturbing gangbang involving several underage individuals who were wearing masks inspired by the film “Scream.” If convicted, the legal consequences could result in her incarceration for several decades, significantly impacting her life and those around her.

According to recently filed court documents, the prosecutors in Morgan County have escalated the charges against Fortinberry by including allegations from five additional victims. The prosecution has announced plans to charge Fortinberry with an additional 24 serious felonies, raising the grand total to 29 charges, which include five counts of Level 1 child molestation. On Thursday, the county prosecutor, Steven P. Sonnega, informed the media that Fortinberry will be formally notified of these new charges and the accompanying potential penalties during a court hearing scheduled for April 3.

In addition to the charges of child molestation, Fortinberry is also facing allegations of sexual misconduct with a minor, the dissemination of harmful material to minors, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Prosecutor Sonnega indicated that regarding the Level 1 child molestation charges alone, if Fortinberry is found guilty, she could face a staggering 20 to 40 years of imprisonment for each count. In addition to the serious Level 1 charges, there are also 24 other counts associated with Level 4, 5, and 6 offenses. Prosecutor Sonnega also mentioned that several legal factors will be assessed when determining Fortinberry’s sentence if she is ultimately convicted.
