“During your time as director of the Department of Homeland Security, have you had sexual relations with Corey Lewandowski?” Kamlager-Dove asked. Noem replied, “Mr. Chairman, I am shocked we’re discussing tabloid gossip in this committee today.”
Kamlager-Dove persisted, stating, “This concerns your judgment and decision-making; it affects the 260,000 employees under your leadership who need to trust that you are making informed decisions. It raises issues of conflict of interest and national security risk.”
Noem, with her husband, Bryon Noem, present in the audience, has denied affair allegations for years but did not provide a definitive answer to Kamlager-Dove’s inquiry.
