‘Cosmic De-Evolution’ Tour by B-52’s and Devo Announced

The iconic bands B-52's and Devo are set to embark on an exciting musical journey together, kicking off the Cosmic De-Evolution Tour later this year. This highly anticipated collaboration is sure to delight fans of both bands.

Despite officially retiring from touring three years ago, the B-52’s have found renewed enthusiasm after sharing the stage with Devo during the memorable SNL 50th anniversary concert. This experience has transformed their outlook on performing live again.

“During our recent performance at the SNL 50 concert at Radio City, we had a conversation that sparked the idea of collaborating for these shows,” shared Cindy Wilson of the B-52’s in a statement to Rolling Stone. “It’s hard to believe, but we’ve only ever played a couple of festivals together in our long careers. This tour is going to be incredible, and I am thrilled at the prospect of sharing the stage with Devo!”

“In 2022, I declared that I would never step foot on a tour bus again,” added Fred Schneider from the B-52’s. “However, we made it clear to our fans that we would consider special performances that don’t involve the typical grueling tour schedules. Our residency in Las Vegas has been going exceptionally well, and when we were presented with the chance to join Devo for a limited series of shows, we all recognized this is a rare opportunity that we simply could not pass up.”
