Nick Carter is currently facing a serious lawsuit filed by a woman who accuses him of rape and of transmitting several sexually transmitted infections. However, Nick vehemently denies these charges, stating that the allegations are unfounded and lacking in credibility.
The renowned singer from the Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter, is being sued by a woman named Laura Penly, who claims he sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions, raising serious concerns about consent and accountability in celebrity encounters.
According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Penly alleges that she first met Nick in 2004 when she was just 19 years old. They reportedly engaged in a brief sexual relationship, meeting at a Los Angeles apartment for intimate encounters. She claims that during their interactions, she requested that he wear a condom, but he allegedly refused, insisting that he was free of STDs.

Penly asserts that prior to meeting Nick, she had never engaged in unprotected sexual intercourse. She recounts a visit in early 2005 when she conveyed to Nick her unwillingness to engage in sexual activity. However, she claims he responded dismissively, implying that her presence was solely for sexual purposes.
According to her allegations, Nick Carter forcibly picked her up, threw her onto the bed, and proceeded to penetrate her against her will, despite her repeated declarations of “no.” She emphasizes that he did not use a condom during this alleged sexual assault, raising serious issues regarding consent and safety.
Penly claims that Nick instructed her to keep the incident a secret, asserting that no one would believe her. She states that a few months later, he reached out to apologize and expressed a desire to see her again, complicating the emotional aftermath of the alleged assault.

During another visit to Nick’s residence in Los Angeles, she claims he again led her into his bedroom where she reiterated her lack of consent. Despite her clear refusals, she alleges that he forcefully penetrated her once more, disregarding her persistent pleas for him to stop, highlighting a pattern of abusive behavior.
Penly asserts that as a result of her encounters with Nick, she was infected with multiple sexually transmitted diseases, including HPV. She reports testing positive for chlamydia and gonorrhea, and has been diagnosed with cervical cancer, which she attributes to the HPV infection, raising significant concerns about health and safety in sexual relationships.
Furthermore, Penly claims that she has had to undergo extensive cancer treatments, including surgeries, which have taken a significant toll on her physical and emotional well-being. She describes enduring severe emotional distress, physical pain, intimacy issues, and other forms of trauma as a direct result of the alleged sexual assaults, emphasizing the long-lasting impact of such experiences.

As a result of these allegations, she is pursuing legal action against Nick for sexual assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress, seeking substantial damages for the suffering she has endured.
Liane Ok. Wakayama and Dale Hayes Jr., the attorneys representing Nick Carter, have responded to these allegations, stating to TMZ, “This is just more of the same nonsense from a group of conspirators and their attorneys who continue to exploit the justice system to attempt to harm Nick Carter. It follows the same predictable pattern—waiting for years until Mr. Carter achieves a professional milestone, then hiding behind litigation privilege to make completely false claims in an effort to inflict maximum damage on Nick and his family.”
Nick’s legal team insists that he has no recollection of ever meeting Penly or engaging in any sexual relationship with her. They also allege that Penly has a documented history of financial and legal troubles, including bankruptcy and lawsuits for fraud, which they argue undermines her credibility in this case.
