Melanie Griffith is embracing Dakota Johnson’s new leading man.
The Working Girl actress made her thoughts on her daughter’s relationship with Role Model crystal clear as the couple’s budding romance continues to evolve.
In a video posted by gossip blog Deuxmoi on April 5, Melanie, 68, offered one word to summarize the Fifty Shades of Grey star’s relationship with the “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out” singer (real name Tucker Pillsbury): “Fabulous.”
As for whether the couple have mom’s official seal of approval, Melanie added, “Of course [they] do.”
Dakota, 36, and Role Model, 28, first sparked romance rumors in December after getting cozy during a dinner outing with friends. The following month, the two stepped out once again for a PDA-filled date night in Los Angeles, which they left holding hands.
The connection between the pair appeared to be going strong as they attended the LA stop on Paul McCartney’s farewell tour on March 28, with stars like Taylor Swift, Margot Robbie, and Olivia Rodrigo also in the crowd.
