In the highly anticipated season two premiere of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, it was disclosed that Dakota Mortensen had been unfaithful to Taylor shortly after the birth of their 13-month-old Ever. Following this revelation, Taylor took to TikTok to share her feelings regarding the couple’s current situation.
In a TikTok post dated May 18, where a fan mentioned a potential encounter with Dakota, Taylor decisively ended any remaining connections, stating, “Dakota isn’t mine anymore; I wish him the best.”
The 30-year-old’s public acknowledgment of their split came just days after she revealed details about Dakota’s alleged betrayal on Mormon Wives.
“After Ever was born, Dakota and I were experiencing the joy of new parenthood together, and I was even contemplating engagement,” Taylor recounted during the May 15 episode. “Then, I discovered that he had been deceiving me all along.”
Later in the episode, Taylor and her Mormon Wives co-star Mayci Neeley invited Jenna, a woman Dakota allegedly had an affair with, to Mayci’s home for a candid discussion. As Jenna presented text messages exchanged with Dakota, Taylor became visibly emotional during the episode.
